A ribbon at true scale

The ribbon you turn on the front page is not a photograph and not a prop. It is generated by a script, exported as a single file, and checked before it goes anywhere near the shop.

Generated, not modelled

A hand-modelled asset drifts. Someone scales it to look right on a laptop and it quietly stops matching the thing we cut. Generating it from the real dimensions means the number in the product copy and the number in the file come from the same place.

Why true scale matters for ribbon

Length is the entire decision here. Six inches and twenty-four inches are different objects with different uses, and a picture flatters both equally. A model held at real size, viewable in a room at real size, is the closest we can get to letting someone judge the length before it arrives.

What gets checked

• Measured dimensions against the cut spec, so the file matches the product.
• A single mesh and one material, so it loads on a phone.
• Validation of the exported file before it is committed.

What it is not

It is a presentation asset, not a manufacturing export. It describes the silhouette and the drape, not the weave, the exact hand, or the way the satin catches a lamp. That part still has to arrive in an envelope.
